When changing referral information in Opportunities (sourced from Salesbuilder), the following error message shows up
Referral fields have been locked when an Opportunity is a SalesBuilder Opportunity or Stage is Closed Won
Referral fields have been locked when an Opportunity is a SalesBuilder Opportunity or Stage is Closed Lost
Referral fields should be locked when an Opprtunity is a Retail Opportunity
Referral fields cannot be locked when an Opportunity is a Retail SalesBuilder Opportunity
. For an Inter-wealth Referral, the following Referral fields should be populated
Referral Type= Scotia Wealth Management & External Referrer field
Referral Type = BNS Partner & Referred by Scotiabank Employee field
Referral Type = BNS Partner & Internal Referrer field
. Referral Type = Scotia Wealth Management & Internal Referrer field
The Parent Opportunity field should be populated when
There is an issue with an Opportunity and information can be sourced from another Opportunity
When a previous retail referred Opportunity was closed (won) within the last 24 months so that Retail can get credit for their referral
When a WMC thinks that an opportunity is worthy of Retail credit
When a previous retail referred Opportunity was closed (won) within the last 12 months so that Retail can get credit for their referral
Financial Accounts can be attached to the Opportunity
Only when the Opportunity is Closed won
At any stage before Closed-Won, as long as a client has been on-boarded correctly
Financial Accounts cannot be attached to Opportunities
When a Referral is from Retail
When a Referral is Self-Sourced (not an inter-wealth or Add-on):
No additional Referral fields should be filled
Only the Parent Opportunity field needs to be filled
Only the External Referrer field needs to be filled
Opportunities cannot be self-sourced
At present Outbound Referrals:
Are integrated with a connection to Commercial Banking
Are not integrated and require the user to manually follow up and change the opportunity stage
Can only be sent to Bank Partners outside of Scotia Wealth Management
Are fed weekly from Salesbuilder and come into FSC as Leads
For Opportunity Migration,
Notes and Files are migrated from the WISE closed won Opportunity table files whereas Opportunity information is sourced from SPCG/ADSR instances
Notes and Files are migrated from SPCG/ADSR whereas Opportunity information is sourced from WISE closed won Opportunity table
All 'Open' Opportunities are migrated from SPCG/ADSR instances and no information is sourced from WISE
Notes and Files are migrated from SPCG whereas Opportunity information are sourced from WISE closed won Opportunity table. No Opportunities are migrated from ADSR
When an Opportunity fails WISE validation, the status is changed to:
Validated
Exception
Override – Approved
Override – Rejected
When is the Validation Date Populated?
When the Validation status changes to ‘Validated’. It populates the current date and may be used for reporting
When the user believes the Opportunity to be validated
Immediately after the Opportunity has been closed-won
When the WISE admin manually enters the Validation date in each opportunity (this field cannot be filled by the end-user)
